Hey there—I’m the guy behind Pescador Fishing Supply. If you’ve ever sat in a kayak before sunrise, paddle in hand and rod at the ready, you get it. That freedom, that simplicity, that connection to the water—that’s why I started kayak fishing. And it’s exactly why I started this store.
Pescador Fishing Supply came to life in 2020 as a way to reconnect with something I’ve always loved—fishing. I’ve fished the rivers and lakes of California’s Central Valley and the coastal waters of the Pacific. But it wasn’t until I got into a kayak that I really found my stride on the water. I wanted to move past the banks and enjoy the independence that kayak fishing brings—solo or with friends, it’s always your own journey.
I didn’t know much about kayak fishing when I started, but that’s the beauty of it. I learned by doing, and the more I learned, the more I wanted to share. That’s what Pescador Fishing Supply is all about: helping fellow anglers get the right gear, avoid the wrong stuff, and stay out on the water longer with less hassle.
Our community is made up of recreational anglers who fish lakes, rivers, and nearshore coastal waters. Whether you're out every weekend or just a few times a season, if you love the quiet thrill of kayak fishing, you’re in the right place.
I fish from a Brooklyn PK13 Angler, a Bote inflatable pedal kayak, and a Hobie PA12. I’ve spent a lot of time customizing and upgrading Brooklyn Kayak Company’s PK series, so if you fish from a BKC like I do, you’ll especially feel at home here.
Some of my best days come from moments like these: launching at Lake Isabella or Leffingwell Landing, catching calico bass off the Santa Barbara coast, or pulling a catfish from the calm water at dusk. That’s what this is all about—real fishing, real gear, real people.
We’re growing steadily and intentionally—adding brands that align with our mission, expanding our kayak parts and accessories offerings, and looking for ways to give back. My long-term vision? To support local fishing events and sponsor youth anglers who want to grow in the sport.
Whether you need a seat strap, a new setup, or just a bit of advice, I’ve got you covered. Thanks for stopping by—I’m glad you’re here.
